Why are believers leaving the church building?

I’ve been out of the church building for six months.  Time to re-evaluate my choice.

To make it clear about how life has changed for me I'll make a list.   Before I do it's  important to say I have NOTHING against organized religion.  My experience is in no way intended to bash the Church Building Experience.  It works for many.  I'm just not one of them.
With that said here is my list of where I am after six months.

Belief
Truth
Emotional Result
I would regret my choice Never once have I regretted leaving the church building Happily surprised
I would stop communing with God without organized religion False.  It’s helped me draw closer. Relief
I would lose many of my friends I have lost friends but have gained new ones. Another big surprise
Not attending church with my husband would come between he and I. False.  I do  think it is harder for him to go without me. There is a bit of sadness in this.
Would not find another community to experience God. False.  My husband and I attend a small group entitled “Why are believers leaving the church , building.”   Happiness giving way to joy.  I absolutely love this group with all of it’s different perspectives brought by others.

This is it for now.  I am so relieved my choice  is working out so far.  We’ll see what God has for the future.
